Support Us

We are a community volunteer group set up to bring Grayshott Community Orchard into being, to be a free to use resource of locally-grown, seasonal fresh fruit for our Grayshott community to enjoy.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with the orchard. If you would like to get involved, please contact us via our Facebook group.

Plans for 2026

In 2026, we hope to continue developing the Orchard with more facilities for people to enjoy. The aim is to provide a shelter in the Educational and Events area and picnic tables including one with wheelchair access in the main Orchard. We will also be investigating the best way to create an accessible path.

The shelter will offer protection from the weather to children from local schools and nurseries, groups such as the Scouts and many other visitors from the community. The picnic tables will provide more places to sit quietly or perhaps enjoy a lunchtime or an afternoon picnic. The area is enclosed by deer fencing and gates which, provided they are closed, make the area safe for children to play and explore.

The Committee is working hard to achieve these goals but it needs more people to help. There will be hurdles to overcome such as a potential planning application and raising enough money through grant applications and fundraising. We’d love to hear from you if you are interested in joining the Committee and helping to make the above a reality. Please contact the Secretary, Deborah Perrin, at daperrin@btinternet.com for more details.🍏
